Which cases are suitable for using Telemedicine services?

 Follow-up study on treatment of cats and dogs

• Monitor the postoperative symptoms of cats and dogs (e.g. look at the surgical incision)
• Consult and adjust the drugs for chronic diseases (such as diabetes, heart disease and kidney disease) in cats.
• Discussion on the results of blood test or diagnosis of complications in cats

 Non-emergency initial symptom assessment

• slight skin problems, itching
• Mild diarrhea or vomiting (still cheerful and able to eat)
• Your veterinarian will help you assess whether you should continue to take care of yourself at home or whether you need to rush in for an examination at the PKAH Rangsit Veterinary Center.

Important restrictions: in which cases Telemedicine should not be used

For "maximum safety" of pets, this service "cannot be substituted" for checking in the following circumstances:

• All emergencies: such as dyspnea, serious accident, unconsciousness, non-stop seizures, massive bleeding, suspected poisoning. These cases must be brought to the hospital as soon as possible.

• The initial symptoms have not been diagnosed, and a thorough physical examination is needed, such as an abdominal catheter and listening to the sounds of the heart and lungs.

• Various operations: such as vaccination, blood penetration, tomography or incision.
