When should a pet be brought to a veterinarian?

Owners should watch for warning signs of neurological disorders, which may include the following:

 Seizures in dogs and cats: total or partial seizures, numbness, runny mouth.

 Weakness/Paresis: Trouble walking, difficulty standing, limbs or paralysis

 Vestibular Signs in Dogs and Cats: Walking, Tilting, Blinking, Vomiting

 Pain in dogs and cats: severe crying when held or touched in the neck and back, back bark.

 Behavior changes in dogs and cats: depression, confusion, aimless walking

 Acute visual impairment in cats without direct eye problems.
